Billing Narrative Polisher for personal injury attorneys

For PI attorneys who still bill hourly on the non-contingency parts of a case — cost tracking, hourly co-counsel work, fee petitions — and need entries that hold up to scrutiny.

Worked example

Raw notes in

call w/ [CARRIER] adjuster re liability dispute, lowball offer again
reviewed med records from [PROVIDER], updated damages summary
drafted demand ltr section on lost wages

Structured output

Telephone conference with [CARRIER] claims adjuster re: liability dispute; adjuster reiterated below-value offer (0.4).
Reviewed medical records received from [PROVIDER] and updated damages summary with current specials total (1.2).
Drafted lost-wages section of demand letter, including wage documentation and calculation methodology (0.8).

Why this matters here

PI practices mix contingency work with hourly billing on costs, liens, and settlement administration — and the case-management side of that (med records, liens, settlement tracking) rarely fits standard billing software cleanly.

PI case stuff (med records, settlement tracking, liens, med bill summaries, etc.) plus regular billing (I still do hourly work too)
